
I am a trained and certified Iyengar yoga teacher and co-founder of Yoga ved Søerne. Together with my colleagues Jette Berring and Claus Wittig, I share a passion for Iyengar yoga, which has shaped our lives. We create a community for both teachers and students.
Yoga is an integral part of my life, embracing the whole person – physically and mentally. It is a practice that brings balance and freedom to both body and mind. Over the years, I have had the honor of learning from some of the most skilled yoga teachers.
My mission is to help you find peace in your body, connect mind and soul, and grow through yoga.
My teaching experience includes a three-year Iyengar yoga training program under the mentorship of Mette Ørum-Nielsen at Copenhagen Yoga. Before I became a yoga teacher, I worked as Head of Street Parties for Distortion, where I discovered the joy of life-affirming events in urban spaces.
My journey from festival organizer to yoga teacher began after a concussion, where I found peace and balance through yoga. This transformation drives me in my teaching today - and I would like to pass it on!
Iyengar - the trademark for quality

Iyengar yoga emphasizes creating balance between strength and flexibility in the body and mind. This is achieved through a variety of different asanas (postures), where precision and difficulty increase over time, and asanas are performed as anatomically correctly as possible.
The Iyengar® method is structured in such a way that especially in the beginning, great emphasis is placed on standing postures, both to strengthen and loosen the body and to prepare it for the more demanding postures, such as inverted, seated, and backward bends. Through regular practice, a healthy balance between flexibility, strength, endurance, and relaxation develops.
A stable yoga practice also opens up for focus on the breath. Breath training, called Pranayama, increases awareness of the breath, aids in concentration and focus, and regular practice of Pranayama thereby contributes to creating inner peace and strengthening the nervous system.
