His groundbreaking book Light on Yoga, called "The Bible of Yoga,” has been continually in print since 1966 and is the source for generations of yoga students.
By bridging hatha yoga, which is often considered merely a physical form, and other types of yoga that focus on intellect, devotion, and meditation, BKS Iyengar has emphasized the spiritual nature of yoga to the delight of hundreds of thousands of yoga practitioners around the world.
